Can I keep using my present software that handles my production and administration?
Probably yes, we will help you to extract the necessary information to make it communicate with the IPS software.
Who will help if IPS has problems?
In connection with the installation and testing, we also train your operators. They will be able to check the screen in help mode, and see if one of the sensors gives the answer. Otherwise they have a "trouble-shooting guide". The operators can call the hotline, let the service partner hook up via a modem, or if necessary send a person to the site.
What are the service intervals for IPS?
You will have a service book after installation and test. Here you can see the details and terms for service. The first service is not required before 100.000 packages. Typical you will have a service visit once a year.
Can the IPS be changed or upgraded to handle more, or other material?
Yes, the IPS is built in modules, and can be reconfigured to a different set-up. The software is already prepared for this.
How long experience do you have with IPS?
Since 2002, two prototypes of IPS have produced 100.000 packages, each, pr. year. These two prototypes are still in production.
Can IPS handle packaging for schools as well as directly for parents?
Yes, without any change in setup it can pack class sets for schools, as well as individual envelopes for parents. In the last case, the IPS will use a cardboard envelope printed with the name and adress, and finally closed.
Can I use my IPS for my analog as well as my digital production?
Yes, from job to job.
